Too many great colors!!!
Man I'm waffling big time here. Right now I have on order Alpine White with Savanna. But I LOVE the Montego Blue, too... And then I look at those pics of Black or Monaco w/ the Lemon.. WOW!
I just ordered a couple of days ago so I can still change it... just can't decide what to do... Props to BMW for the color combos. I guess the good news is I can't really go wrong, but this is killing me! Thoughts on colors: Blue: GREAT color, but will I still like it in 2-3 years from now? Will it be hard to sell? Attract the radar guns? White: Conservative choice, doesn't stand out. Can't see the lines as well. Still, something very classy about a nice white BMW. Black/Monaco: Very sweet looking with the lemon. Hard to keep looking nice, though. HOT in the summer (Alabama). Is the Lemon going to be tough to keep clean? (have a 7-yr old son) Arrrgh! JM |

I had the same problem.. I ended up going with Jet Black although I'd be weary if you don't plan on babying your paint

It really is a tough choice and I think the fact that many dealerships seem to only have 1 or so on display you cant really get a feel for the colors until you can see them in person. It is a tough choice but hey if it wasnt tough then we wouldnt have much to choose from right ? haha

I was in the same boat....wound up getting an AW with taupe leatherette....
Love the alpine white...tuape wasn't my best choice...should have went with black... You cannot go wrong with a white 1 ...trust me.... The blue was my second choice with either lemon or terracotta.... |

I agree. I love a clean black car. But I am much more picky how my car looks then the average person, so black drives me nuts, its always dirty. I will never but another black car unless I win the Lotto.
Alpine is so clean looking, and some say it also gets dirty easy. I have had several white and black cars and there is NO comparison. White is a cakewalk. Montego is great, but I think its too "Look at me" color. Crimson red is very nice and doesn't show swirls like dark colors. Silver is great, but my last 3 cars were silver. Easy to keep clean. I really like Alpine the best, its so easy to wash, doesn't spot, easy to wash when its hot out. If your in a hurry, just do a quick wash, dry and coat the tires and your good to go. Good luck. |

Depends on the light. During the daytime I see a huge difference, the high gloss bringing back memories of confetti at high school prom. Really wish they had let us choose piano black.. :iono:
