Got my 09 128i coupe back in September. Looking forward to meet some the local members! Let me know if you are selling your wheel/tire, I'm looking for summer set for next year.

Thought I might introduce myself. Just purchased an older 2013 135is. I've seen a couple 135 around town and figured somebody might be on here - one seemingly works close to city way I've noticed - blue.

One of the reasons I purchased was that an older 2003 Supercharged Mach I owned just got completely owned by a 135 at IRP. It had been tuned and was running e85 if I remember correctly. I sorted have eyes on trying to do the same to this one, but my familiarity with BMW engines could almost be measured in this paragraph.

If anybody has experience with jb4 or some other type of tuner, let me know I would really enjoy the lessons. Looks like IRP is shut up for the nationals, but if anybody might be down for 9/19, let me know. cars and coffee might be another place.

Welcome!

Theres a few around the city. I believe some guys are on the northside. McGinity Motorworks gets a good amount of cars there. Im located in Franklin Township but mine is more of a weekend toy but I'm always down for a good cruise!

Thanks,
Mike

Hey all! I have had my 135is for almost a year and it is a wonderful car! Would love to have some more 1 series show up at our Hoosier BMW events/socials. Let me know if you have any questions!

Indy local

Yep I'm in Indy. I got my 2011 E88 just last week wise use of my stimulus money and have been having a blast. I would like to get it looked over and maybe see about doing some upgrades. Does anyone have any shop recommendations in the area?

Helllloooooo...It's been awhile since anyone posted here, so...
I'm MGalo, aka Mark, and I'm new to 1Series ownership('11 E88 135i). I organize meets with whatever car I'm driving, ie MR2 Spyder meets in West/South-central Indiana, typically starting in Greencastle, round-tripping to Story or French Lick, then back to Greencastle.
Meeting up somewhere in Indy or ??? is fine too.

If anyone is interested, chime in! Take care!

Just picked up my second 135i (2010) a couple months ago. Drove to New Jersey. I'm NE Indy. Definitely down for a meet up if you can catch me with the car off the jack stands lol. I got to Cars and Coffee frequently as well.

Hello! Sorry, I don't get here often(obviously!). I'm Northside, near St Vincent Hospital. I need to do a brake system flush and bleed, hopefully tomorrow, Sunday. I keep forgetting about C&C's...my MR2 Spyder has been in the shop since 5-5, but is in the final stages of reassembly, and it's been on my mind...do you know when and where the "next" C&C is scheduled?
Enjoy!

C&C

Cars and Coffee are usually at Gator Motorsports or IMS. They host a Facebook page and that is constantly updated. I've only been to one actually. The next is 9/25 at Gator. I might have a conflict so that won't be in my cards.

The Detail Garage in Plainfield is a little closer to me and in the evening so I might have a better chance at attending that. They also host a Facebook event.

My wife was shopping at Dreyer North this weekend. She wasn't looking at these, but I noticed they have two used M2 Comps for sale right now. After my wife dropped some money there, I don't think I could pitch the whole "hey, why don't we buy two cars" argument.

Presently trying to find anybody who might have messed with their downpipe. I don't have a lift so it wouldn't be that fun of an experience to mess with, but I would like to hear it and see if it might work. I have an E88 so I'd also like to see how bad it might make things smell as well.

down pipe

I did my catless about a year and half ago and yes it was miserable without a lift. I would recommend removing from turbo and taking the back section off with it. Chances are where it bolts to next exhaust section it will need to be cut apart. those nuts and studs are most likely seized after so many heat cycles. The smell is not too bad and I have a convertible and the sound is glorious. There is a DIY garage near Shadeland and 42nd that rents bays seemed like good guys. Went to check it out but didn't do a lot there. Went ahead and got a mobile lift at our fab shop, definitely makes life easier. I will soon be camping out there to install new a Pure turbo and Mishimoto radiator. Hope to be back on the road before the weather turns and able to catch another C&C. Cheers

My car might be ready for some C&C meets late summer or early fall. If I’m lucky. Overhauling/upgrading basically the entire car. Made a decent dent but still have a long way to go.

Hello, as is obvious, I don't get here often, so, sorry for the absence. After getting my Spyder back(Gator Motorsports did the work), I'm back to driving my 135i once a week. I didn't receive any notices about responses here...again, my bad.
So, is anyone interested in doing some driving? The meets I organize typically start at IN46&IN43. We drive South to Bedford, then either East to Story, then back to Greencastle/Bloomington/?, or South to Loogootee, maybe French Lick, then back North to wherever.
I don't do social media, other than forums like this(+mr2-spyder, and SpyderChat). I'll check to see when/where any C&C's are happening and check back here.
Take care and be safe!
