Eibach Pro Kit Settled Update
Hello, Looking for some photos of eibach pro kits after they have settled in.
I have used the search function and gone deep into the forum hunting. There are a few photos. Anyone with Eibach pro kits want to chime in? Looking to purchase them for a daily driver 128i. It appears the kit doesn't drop a 128i as much as it does the 135i. i know - I did ha ha. A lot of photos are no longer hosted on their affiliated website. thanks! |

This is a B12 kit equipped 128i, it includes Eibach Pro Kits + Bilstein B8 shocks. I have Dinan camber plates up front which raise the front by 5mm or so. Lots of miles on this kit so it's settled.
The profile shot shows some wheel gap in the rear, it's probably 5mm lower in the rear on level ground, the driveway is not quite level and causes the rear driver's side to show a slightly higher gap. Only other note is there are 12mm spacers up front, and 10mm in the rear. Stock wheel & tire sizes in 18" |

It is pretty low with the pro kit, looks fantastic, but definitely have to be careful going over stuff.

To answer your question - no I don't think it would be too low. The B12 kit is not known as the lowest out there, I think for example Swift springs are lower by a few mm. It really depends on your daily drive cycle, I don't recall scraping anywhere including speed bumps and driveways. So 5mm lower (without the plates) *may* have scraped once or twice compared to what I have, but I doubt it. The camber plates themselves are not that expensive, and are maintenance free. They will improve your front end grip considerably and allow you to run spacers to fill up the wheel arches up front. So consider those... |

Just my .02 but if you’re going to be low and looking for as flush as possible, consider doing this fender tab mod while you’ve got the suspension out. It’s really quick and will solve almost all of your rubbing issues when the wheel is straight. I did it on mine and you can’t even tell it’s different from the outside.

Yeah, me too, I should have mentioned that. Taking my driveway at a hard angle minimizes the scraping but doesn't eliminate it. If I took it head on that would be pretty rough, lol.

Before I had the M3 lower control arms, I could get about -2. With control arms probably -2.75 or so. I'm running at -2 right now (there is a tiny bit of adjustment snce the camber pins have to be removed to run the Dinan plates, which allows for a small range). |

Finally got some measurements.
24.5" ground to wheel arch in the front, 25" in the rear. 5.5" to the bumper just before the front wheel. Side shot of the car, I can get one finger in the wheel gap as it sits and it still hits the top of the tread. No spacers, -2.5deg in the front, 17x8 w/ 225s, fenders rolled.

I added 10mm spacers to the rear and 12mm to the front and I had rubbing in the rear. Had to get the fenders midlly rolled at the rear where it meets the bumper. Mild rolling all the way around as well. Front never rubbed even with the spacer because of the camber plates, otherwise possible rubbing at the front bumper tab also (depending on your tires etc). |
