The brakes are very good for a few hard stops. But I was surprised how easily I could get them to fade, and the dust!!

128 guys don't freak out about a single panic stop as everyone has said the tires make the biggest difference. Car and driver for example from 70mph did 157 feet with a 135 and vs 163 for a 128...Not exactly night and day. Figure those 6 feet are probably made up with the bigger 215/245 vs 205/225 tires....Now do that 5 times in a row and i'm sure the difference would be much bigger. But that's not generally how it works in the real world... I personally hated my first set of brakes as they were extremely touchy and grabby. i.e. the first time anyone drove my car they'd put the passenger through the front window. However, once my pads and rotors were changed at 29k it was much more progressive and normal feeling.

I hope we all get to go to that air strip again soon! Edit: just looked at the VB3s and those are some HAWT CSL reps! What color did you go with? |

By just swapping the OEM fluid with a high boiling point racing fluid will make a big difference in fade rsistance. I use Motul RBF600 in my cars.

good to hear that you and your 1 are ok.. nothing sucks more than going out on a Sunday to enjoy your time and coming back home with either a speeding ticket or an accident.
