10 year warranty on HPFP only offered to USA delivered cars?
IF this is the case, then it pretty much says that the problem is concentrated in the USA only. In which case there is a strong possibilty it has something to do with the fuel? Draw your own conclusions.

I would guess you asked the initial question because you didn't know the answer? I conclude you may very well be wrong, but I don't know how to draw that. |

I received a letter in the mail stating that my warranty was extended to 10 years. Maybe some people outside of the US can comment on whether they have been notified of the warranty extension.

Sounds like it may just be the u.s., but that could also be due to the fact that this is where the majority of 135is have been sold.

Why weird? There were ecu software and likely other revisions made for the 2009 model...which likely addressed the failures in the 2008 cars. Always sucks to go first.

Except that lots of '09's are experiencing the same problems. Has anybody in Canada had a HPFP replaced? My Feb' 2008 has 14,000 Km with no FP problems yet, although sometimes I notice a slight hiccup while idling at a red light.

I occasionally get a slight hiccup when stopped but not very often. No HPFP problems after 17,000kms. Never had reduced performance either.
