It truly is an amazing car
I picked up my 1er today and I am so overwhelemed with joy. I am more than satisfied. I have never owned a brand new car and I must say this could possibly be one of the happiest days of my life. I am super impressed with all aspects of the car. Even though I can't bring it over 5k rpm there is still plently of grunt. I got nav and love how it is so easy to use. The handeling is superb. I am impressed with the M package because it really accents the car nicely. Overall a great day and good weather and glad to be part of the 1er crew. Got a jb3 PnP ready and waiting and can only imagine.
Ti Silver Aluminum Trim Black Leatherette M Sport Pack Nav Ipod/usb Power Seats with Mem Premium Hi-Fi I wanna post a pic and used photobucket and I was having some trouble. I searched and couldnt find how to upload unless I am doing something wrong. Can some one instruct me and I'll get a pic up. |

I can't think of a better car to get for a first new buy. Enjoy it!!!! I'm going on 14,000 miles, and I still have a stupid grin on my face everytime I hit the start button. Truly addicted!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats, the wait is finally over! I see you decided on JB3, that's what I ended up getting too. I installed mine right after break-in. I think you'll be very happy with it.
By the way, when you ordered your car, were you aware that New Country had that same color in stock with the same options (or very close anyway)? I picked up mine from there in April and saw it there. It was originally ordered for one of the salesman to buy but then his financing fell through or something so they put it up for sale. No matter now I suppose, the waiting is over. Have fun! |

This time, I bought this car brand new, with 3 miles on it, with my own credit and my own money. The service given to me at Long Beach BMW was fantastic. I'll tell you this too: The car gets better after 3500 miles. The transmission is smoother, and you can open it up a bit more (if not for breaking it in, then just because you're not afraid to push it anymore). Not to jack the thread: but has anyone noticed (manual transmission) that although the power tapers off at the end of the power band (use 2nd to 3rd as an example), but when you nearly redline it in 2nd, shift into 3rd, you have IMMEDIATE torque to rocket you forward?!?! Amazing! This must be turbo, because my N/A car would take a while for power to build again, feeilng the torque as it neared redline.
