What should I ask for at my first service appt?
I have taken my car in for several minor fixes, but tomorrow I bring in my car for the 1-year oil change. I have 13,800 miles. The oil light just came on...and its perfect time, I've had my car for exactly one year.
Does anyone recommend anything to ask for? I already plan to ask them to look at the A/C and to look at wind noise from the window at >65mph. ....what can I SQUEEZE out of BMW??? What will they do besides the oil change?? THANKS!!! Happy Roads to all.....

Sometimes I'm happy if they can just get done what I brought it in for without screwing that up. Seriously, I had an X3 and brought it in for a leaking panoramic sunroof. When I picked up the car they already had the sunroof open when I got in the car, which I thought was odd since it was November. As soon as I tried to close the sunroof, crunch! all kinds of popping and crackling started. Turns out the sunroof wasn't completely put back in correctly and there were screws and stuff just laying in the tracks. UnF'ing believable. I was beyond approachable.
Next time I brought my 330Cic in to have the tires replaced since they had dead spots on the tires and BMW was replacing them per the warranty. When I got the car back, I did a walk around before getting in and found my bumper had been "hit" or backed into another car. I mean the bumper was hit so hard that it was cracked and had huge indentations and was now lining up crooked. Again, I had smoke coming out of my ears! They ended up replacing the bumper but the paint color was wrong. After a second repaint I eventually got my car back. (4 weeks later) So again, I say, if they do your oil change and don't screw that up, well, take that as a good sign.

first service went by uneventful.....had a nice 2009 328iA loaner.
what i was surprised to learn is that they need to see my car back in 60 days for "follow up service". bmw makes them wait 60 after the first oil change. i am sure everyone else already knew this, but it was news to me.
