Wow, looking good. Very nice car but what is it doing in the hood? lol I lived right across the street from that tire shop on 10th and myrtle. Be careful with that beauty out there.

I actually don't mind them one bit, I think they looks quite fitting.
True story: when my parents lives in the US, they bought an SL500. When they moved back to Europe, they took the SL with them and of course had to convert the lights to meet European regulations. We put the US lights in storage. When the car was sold a few years ago to a gentleman in Norway, we gave him the spare US parts, including the US-spec lights. Even though the European lights look better (completely clear), he swapped them out for the US-spec lights with the amber reflectors. Why? It was different than all the other SLs on the street. |

Powerbeast: very tastefully done mods, everything is top notch. This is how the car should come originally from the factory.
What tyre are you running on this car?? |

I don't even know where to start with this thread.
I think this is singlehandedly the best looking AW 1M I've ever seen. Everything fits the scheme from the Wheels to the brakes. Fantastic worK! |

Powerbeast: I have already ordered the BBS FI's and I have the idea to order the PSS tires in 295/30 size for the rear. Do you think there will be any rubbing with this size? I think you have the 275/30...right?

There will only be rubbing issues if you plan to really lower the car. Stock suspension should clear no rubbing. I rolled a little bit inside my rear fender to clear my drop.

Looks amazing. How is the fit of the Slek rear bumper side valences on the lateral aspects of the rear bumper? Easy to install? I'm thinking of just getting those. They round out the rear quite nicely.

+1. Was thinking of adding just those bits but wonder if they'll appear out of place without the side valence?

Which downpipes did you go with? Why ESS Tune over Procede?
