1M conversion guys need ur help

I'm trying to get an idea of what a reasonable amount to pay for the body work and paint for the conversion is. I'm supplying all the panels and I'm still getting quotes 8500 is that within reason? Of course I will look around more but I want to know what people have actually paid. Feel free to private message me

I remember seeing around $5k for the job. But those threads were from 2-3 years ago. Inflation and economy has changed. Only real way to test the price is to call multiple shops.

Location plays a big part as well. In DC here shops range to $100-$150 an hour while shops near me on the eastern shore of Maryland are around $60.

A lot of it is based on the color you want to use. Some people just did alphine white or jet black.. that's going to be easier and cheaper to spray.

Also most just had the new body parts painted. Which is cheaper than a complete re-spray of the whole body. About 50% less work only spraying new panels.

I'm in Alexandria tue-thurs for work. Commute is the only down side. But as you can see life is much cheaper on the shore.

On the shore I'm nestled in a little town. Mardela Springs.
