Checking tail lights

Gentlemen,

Hope everyone's having a good weekend. I'm purchasing the newer version of tail lights and they're currently not installed in the seller's car so I've no way of checking that they will work.

Short of actually checking them by installing them, are there things to look out for to make sure they're good and will indeed work?

It worked out last minute for me to be picking them up today, so quick responses will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Logistics didn't work out guys so I'm hoping to pick them up today. If any one has any ideas for me to check them I'm still all ears.
