Long cranks after filling up - CEL and 2A1A code
In between replacing my fuel pump's o-ring and then the fuel pump itself to resolve fuel odor after fillup problems (https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1416681) I am now experiencing severe long cranks after filling the tank up. When I go to start the engine it cranks for what seems like 7 seconds or more; as time goes on the frequency, pitch and intensity of the crank increases until finally the car turns over roughly. Only does this if I fill up to or very close to a full tank.
CEL and code 2A1A show up shortly after. Car had its tank vent valve replaced probably 8 years and 150,000kms ago. Time to replace again or different problem? Again started happening immediately after replacing the o-ring for my fuel pump (later the whole fuel pump was replaced). 2008 128i with 209,000kms as of this writing. Any suggestions on what the problem might be are appreciated.
