Shop for Turbo Upgrade/Replacement
Can anyone recommend a shop in NE that they have either brought their car to for a turbo replacement or upgrade. I'm getting ready to do a Vargas Turbo upgrade and I would prefer to bring it to a shop that has some experience with doing this.
Thanks! |

I did this in March, it was not cheap, I went Vargas stage 2. expect to spend at least 1500-2000 in parts and labor not to mention all the money you will spend on gaskets and other things, plus the cost of turbos.
Also check to see if you have any leaks going on while your car is torn apart. I replaced my entire valve cover too and some stuff for my oil cooler. I was also without my car for 3 weeks but the things that my mechanic kept finding, leaky valve cover, etc didn't help. If you're going vargas stage 2 your car will be a monster. Good luck keeping the rear wheels on the ground. I had trouble with stock turbos and 265's in the rear. So yeah, I used Motive Auto works in Woburn. Hero did an awesome job. Can't say enough good things about him. Great, honest guy. |
