Cooling Seat Pad?
Looking for a cover/pad to prevent hot leather seat from roasting my buns, without looking ugly and cheap. BMW says the synthetic leather is treated to prevent scorching.....but in SoCal where I live the summer high temps exceed 115F for a good 3 months.
Any ideas or leads is appreciated!

I used to have BMW vest (sheepskin) on my e30, still gave good lateral support.
Super cool in the summer and warm during the winter. I wonder if BMW still offers it? |

I'd go for good window tint.
http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...omotive-Films/ It's rather spendy tint, but it blocks almost all the heat form the sun. All you'd have left is to put a shade in the windshield and you'd always have a cool car to get into. |

Unfortunately, BMW, like most manufacturers these days, use coated leather for their upholstery which means the wonderful breathability we like with leather is no longer there. My back gets sweaty in my 128i which was never a problem in my older cars with leather. |
