SES and rough idle after spark plug change

Just changed plugs, and immediately have rough idle and Service Engine Soon light,
Plugs are NGK from FCP Euro, recommended plugs for 128i
I did not use a tq wrench because I don’t own one
I did not check gaps, assumed correctly pre-gapped

Guess I’ll take it apart again now and check wire connections
Any thoughts?

I have it sorted out now
One of the electrical (coil) plugs was not completely seated into its coil …
Smooth sailing now

Good fix, glad it was just not seated properly. Great when it’s something simple and free.

Drove 200 miles to Charleston and back yesterday, SES light cleared itself, smooth running and seems a bit more powerful, maybe better mileage too - Probably just the placebo effect, but it did seem to run better.

Those gaps look huge...no wonder these cars are hard on coils.
