Ummm... where's the DME actually located?

Apologies for the newbie question (and I did search) but where is the DME actually located?

On the N54 engine; if you are looking under the hood, it is under the cowl and cabin air filter on the left side of the engine.

And on N55 engines the ECU(DME) is bolted to the engine block, under the engine cover near the rear bulkhead(center-ish) engine bay.
