So Long
All thanks for the great track advice over the last 4 years, I sadly traded in my 135i for a 2017 X5 x35i last Friday. Still keeping true to the N55 for better or for worse.
The 135i was a great car to learn how to drive on track and helped me raise my driving skills onto a whole new level with plenty of room left to learn. It was to the point of either keeping the car somewhat drive-able or begin dumping $$$ into the car for racing which didn't make to much sense long term. I am onto pursue Spec E30 racing and Champcar Endurance events over the next year and needed a car capable of towing. If your in the NYC area there is a 2012 BMW 135i DCT with an ER Oil Cooler, rebuilt brakes with Stoptech pistons w/ lines going up for auction soon Cheers |

Good luck w your new adventure @beattiecj! Mingled w a few SE30 racers over this past weekend and I’m telling you you won’t regret doing it! My instructor races w them in his 318is and he has said great things and has tried to get the needle stuck in my arm. I’m a novice still but thinking about spec racing once I’m past DE3. Thanks for all your advice as well.

I attended the very first SE 30 race at VIR and watched the guys have so much fun I had to do it. Came back and built a car.
The camaraderie still exists like no other class. I don't race anymore but keep in touch with some of the guys. You will love it!!!
