So far when driving on the highway at a steady 60 MPH I have been able to reach and stay at 35-36 MPG, I did get to hit 40 MPG lol.
Now in the city I'm getting 22.1 which has been a lot better then the 16 that I was getting lol |

WTF? Are you reading from the onboard computer while driving or doing the math at the pump?

When used as my daily driver/commuter car, I average between 19 and 21 mpg. Lots of full throttle accelerations, lots of boost in the 8 to 9 psi range, lots of stop and go traffic and speeds over 80.
This past weekend I had a 200 mile drive each way with minimal traffic so I tried to see the best fuel economy I could get traveling a more reasonable speed (under 80). I got 25.7 on the trip there and 26.8 mpg on the trip home. 100% cruise control, no stops, no full throttle accelerations, no (positive) boost (P3 recalls the highest boost, never got above 0). I had the speed set between 76 and 78, which was about as slow as I could stand it (but still fast enough to pass most cars on the road). I hate the small fuel tank, but it really is amazing what an additional 6-7mpg will gain you in range. |

It's really hard to compare results because everyone has different driving habits and different percentages of city vs highway driving. EPA tests give the MT about a 10% advantage, but few will realize that in town because those results depend on keeping the car in very high gears where there is no responsiveness. On long trips I think the DCT can get 28 mpg with the A/C on if the route is not hilly and there are very few slow downs. MT cars will shine here because it isn't such a pain to put it in 6th and cruise across the middle of nowhere.

About 17-18mpg city, 26ish on the highway. The gas mileage is acceptable, i just wish the damn gas itself was cheaper....oh well

Glad this thread came up, as I just took my new 135 convertible on a trip for the first time. It has about 3000 miles on it at this point and is bone stock.
On my way up to Cape Cod, about 215 miles I average 27 MPG with the top down and car loaded down with 2 people and lots of crap. I was happy. On my way back I average 28 with the top up and the AC on about 2/3 of the time and loaded down with even more crap. When speed limits, cops and traffic limited me to around 50-60 MPH for the first 50 miles of the trip I was around 31 MPG. In my normal 70 mile round-trip commute in a mix of city & highway traffic I average 24-25. Overall I am very happy with those numbers, though I probably baby it more than most of the people on this forum.
