Hahaha, that's crazy! What were the two options?

Tell him he should let you drive that one for 2 days then! Or go test drive that one so you have a 2014 to drive since i imagine you had previously test driven a 2013.

I thought about doing that but I would rather just wait for my car. If I test drive the car, I will just get annoyed for almost driving down there today.
Heated Seats and a Panoramic Moonroof.

No, you definitely should wait. Sadly, I use those heated seats down here a lot more than I'd like to admit. My 2008 135i didn't have the heated seats and it was always a sore spot for me.

And the panoramic moonroof is a must have on that car, even at $1250. Can't wait to see pics of everyone's new cars in the coming days. Will be a flood of pictures to replace our flood of frustrations waiting.

Yeah, and hopefully none of our cars were flooded on the CL or Toreador!

Well, my car just landed at the dealer, delivered from VPC on a Sunday (for those of us wondering if they delivered on weekends, now we know....)! Unfortunately, due to my busy work schedule this week I can't get there to pick up the car for a few days. Oh, the agony.

I'm so jealous. Perhaps I'll be getting a call later then cause if yours just showed up, your dealer is much closer than mine, so who knows, maybe in 2 hours I'll get a call saying mine's here. If not, I'll just drive over there and start looking for it!

Offer still stands to go pick yours up for you if you want. Beautiful day to have the top down, I mean, to have me check to make sure the top works properly. =) Looks great and even if you were down there, still takes a couple of hours for them to finish prepping it and going through the PDI process, removing that hood stuff, installing front license plate brackets, etc. etc.

Can you at least ask some of the young guys at the dear to test drive it for you to make sure everything is up to snuff?

Bite your tongue! We will not be having any such bracket installed. And don't offer to go help them with that, or I'll have "my boys" at the VPC install that chrome grille on your car before it leaves.

I bet yours will be there later today or tomorrow, at the latest.

Gee, with friends like you guys......

Simian, be sure to post pics of yours when you get those nice wheels and suspension installed. Anxious to see the red!

Perhaps I'll drive up to SB with Simian on Saturday and we'll photograph our cars next to yours before you make it down there to pick it up. hahaha.

I hope I get that call, but alas, it may be moot if it's available today due to the stainless steel pedals issue cause if I need to get those installed, I don't want to go back and have that done. We shall see.

Grrrr..........

No calls or car in AZ either. My dealer doesn't do final prep on Sunday, so would not have gotten it today anyway.

Congrats on at least seeing it on the lot!!!

I'll race you then Randy to see who gets our 135is first. My hold up even if it came today is I'm making sure those darn stainless steel pedals are installed since none of the DCT 135is cars seem to be having them put on as it's fallen through the cracks at BMW. So, come hell or high water, I'm getting my stainless steel pedals before I drive off the lot. Since the service department wouldn't be able to install them today since they're closed, if they aren't already on there, I wouldn't take the car today anyways.

Plus, now I have a migraine and am not in the mood. I sound like my ex-wife.

Would be nice to see a picture of my car though. I even had a moment today of questioning my color choice after a space gray 335is pulled up next to me at a light and I saw those 313s out of the corner of my eye and was like, whoa....

I'm thinking if the dealer gives greg any flack, we may have to go the crowdfunding route to raise that money for his coveted stainless steel pedals....it is probably worth it to us to keep him sane and stop his nightmares about picking up a car with black pedals. The horror of it all!

Sure glad I got the 6 MT so I don't have to worry about pedals shmedals.

I'm not above being a charity case...if that gets me my beloved pedals. Once you see them on there, it's hard to see it without them. Plus it's the principle. It's supposed to have them, yet, none do. I will not let this unchecked aggression stand. There are rules here!

Paypal money for my precious pedals. Don't worry, I don't need 3 of them...2 will do. =)

Not to bum the DCT crowd out, but are you guys sure your cars are supposed to come with stainless pedals? As I recall, the MY2013 brochure notes that those pedals only come with manual-equipped cars and the online 135is configurator depicts black pedals when the DCT option is added. Of course I hope BMW NA and/or the dealers ignore that info and provide the pedals to any 135is DCT customers who ask.

Post edit: I just checked the configurator again and now it shows the metal pedals with DCT, so that should help matters. Why must BMW make it so complicated? Metal pedals for everyone!!!

That first picture the dealer sends you when it arrives is just magical. It goes from fantasy to reality very quickly! Don't question your color choice - space is awesome but your choice is amazing, too.

Wow! My dealer does not do PD on Sundays either and told me delivery is on Monday morning. I'm debating on leaving work at lunch or not. I am thinking about after work but knowing me, I won't be able to wait. How fast can I get insurance transferred to another car on my policy? Same day?

Same in Australia - only the manuals get the Stainless Steel pedals. I too was all worked up about not getting the stainless pedals but come pick up day, it was the last thing on my mind as all I wanted to do was get in and drive it away. I ended up buying a set of the BMW stainless pedals and they do look great. Getting the brake pedal on is a B$%CH!.

Well, just got the call that my car is still at the VDC in pieces and won't be here until "at least" Thursday... So it is taking them two weeks+ to unload it, IS it out and get it to me.

Anybody have any idea what May financing deals will be? We get to take whatever deal is better between the day we ordered and the day we pick up. I am hoping May drops to 0% or something crazy like that!

So Greg, I think you are going to win...

Tuesday pick up? My dealer emailed me saying the dealership received no cars today. I don't know why. He said he has no control over what gets delivered. Geez... Now I don't even know if it will happen tomorrow like he said it would. He tells me he is off for the next two days but will try to come by tomorrow so I can get my car! Is he kidding me??? He should be throwing in free floor mats by now.
