Oil filter housing gasket question

So I have to replace my oil filter housing gasket. It’s causing oil to leak in my coolant and coolant to leak into my oil.

If I replace my oil filter housing gasket and obviously oil. Will I be fine to flush out my coolant sometime next week or would it just intermix and ruin the new oil filter housing gasket?

Thanks

You'd want to flush it asap but you should be alright for a few days. The gaskets go bad because of the heat makes them brittle. If you see any oil floating on top try to siphon some out it should help some.
