Same with 45mm offset for winter.

225/40/18 styling 261s all round (7.5 front and 8.5 rear).

Have you got a wind diffuser? It makes a huge difference.

I do love driving on summer nights and winter days with the heater and heated seats on full and the roof down; but I find my ears and passenger-side upper arm aren't fully protected from the outside air and force me to put the roof on the highway when it's below ~65f.

I've got child seats in the back now so I rarely use the diffuser - but I don't remember ever pulling over because it was too cold with the windows up and the diffuser in place.

No diffuser yet. I have kids, and at least one of them typically ends up in the back seat at least once a week. I think it'll be more trouble than it's worth. Commute is a 30 minute highway slog, but we do manage to keep velocity up most of the time.
Windows up makes a huge difference - that's how I got home last night, just wearing a cotton blazer and driver's cap (last-minute stop for emergency lumber. Temp hovering around 50, but dipped to upper 40's. I don't like the top-down windows-up look, and reject it on principle. If it's too cold to drop the windows, it's too cold to drop the top.
But I've really missed the exhaust burble and fresh air!

I, too, have a diffuser and am man enough to run with top down, Windows up! Since I am driving, I almost never see how it looks, I just enjoy how it feels.

Gotta say "amen" to this myself. Once it starts dipping below 60, the windows usually go up. I'm running a rear seat diffuser myself and it makes a world of difference keeping the air from hitting you on the back of the neck. My kids have long since moved out of the house, the diffuser pretty much stays in the car.

So, some unexpected events occurred with a shitty landlord and I've gotta find a new place. Always a pain with putting up the cash for first last and security on a place. Decided to be a little responsible and cut my wheel budget down quite a bit for now. I ordered these to get me by with the 1M body until I can buy fancy wheels. 19x9.5/10.5+22 rotary forged

this is a car with the same wheels an specs I'm doing. very concave which I love

Drove up and down the driveway testing, spinning as much as I could. Zero rub on the average bump. I'd guess a big high speed bump might make contact. But the pattern is tight enough and centered where the most it'd do is tear up a liner. Not really a concern and should work out perfect.

I'll test fit and drive the fronts tomorrow.

I have those wheels on my 128i as winter wheels. Not bad.

I have those wheels on my son's E90. Good choice!

After a few drives I notice the Bilstein struts and shocks are stiffer (in a good way) than the BMW Performance counterparts, and rebound damping is more composed. So far, I think this was a good decision. I understand the gas Bilstein dampers take a little while to settle in place so even though I'm happy now I'm expecting it to feel better as time goes on. Very happy with the ride height of the BMW Performance springs as well. Would definitely recommend this set-up. Feels more like a sports coupe should.

PS - will update this in a few weeks.

Also, love seeing the yellow Performance springs and the yellow and blue Bilstein B8 struts and shocks under my car. That, and the Michelin PS4S tires have transformed my car.

Nothing left I want to do...

Wait, are we ever done? lol

Good suspension is a marvelous thing! Really makes driving the car a joy.

And yes, there's always stuff to do, maintenance never ends to keep a 135 happy :P

I've been meaning to ask- did you install your rsfbi's or have a shop do em? I'm sure they're fine, just that doing em yourself qualifies as weekend tinkering, and not such a big deal to bounce over to a different set...

Had a shop (my dealer) do the Whiteline inserts while I was getting other work done, which was new brake fluid and new oil, plus some other stuff that I don't remember right now.

I also scraped the bottom of my front bumper cover not long after I got the car. Considered it part of the "break-in." lol

Yeah. As time goes on, the irritation is starting to subside. Serves me right for making comments to my friend. He got a SV650 motorcycle used but the thing barely had any miles and was pristine. I told him he had to do one thing before riding it. He asked me what that is. I said throw it to the ground to get that out of the way first.

Yep, once you get that first scratch (or scratches) out of the way the second, and third, etc. don't hurt so much.

Ugh, I'm REALLY tempted to pick up a fairly good condition E9X DCT steering wheel. Should I? Should I not? Who knows
