Slek Lip adhesive coming apart in the middle, how should i fix this?

Just installed it a few weeks ago and probably should have compressed the lip to the bumper overnight right when it was done, but i didn't and drove it right away. Also, my car needs a wash i know.
I let it sit for 2 days with bricks underneath with towels on top so it wouldnt scratch but would press the lip into the bumper more and it seemed to help... but after it got colder out it seems to have gone back to what it looks like in the picture below.

Does this need to be redone or is there a way to fix it as is?

Neither the lip nor your bumper would have deformed like that. It just doesn't match up perfectly.

I think your best bet is one or two more attachment points where the gap is.
