I never talk about certifications etc on forums though...it always becomes a "girth war" between nerds. LOL

The 1st sentence was for them and the next one helps the other IT people figure out what in IT you really do. Paper pusher CISSP or real engineer CCNP-S or layer 7 security like patch management... This field is vast and it is always interesting to hear what people do in it.

I can't compete with the truly gifted (nerdy) folks. Having played NCAA division 1 sports in college, I have been hit a few too many times. :/

Awesome! Would love to get into this more for fun actually. Do you use Avid Pro Tools HD for final editing (on the video/film side)? I use Pro Tools for music recording/editing/mastering and have extensively upgraded my rig this year. Would be fun to get into camera work...seems like all my hobbies are too damn expensive! I have to pace myself! Lol

Crazy how many IT engineers are on here. Looks like most are in design/ architect. I see one SAN guy on the thread and a lot of others in security.
