Feeler: Unicorn 2008 128i 6MT w/ Sports Package
Really closely eyeballing the M2C to replace my DD 128i. Would love to hear what you guys think it may be worth at this point. My car has been a daily driven work commuter, grocery getter, home depot runner, etc. It has seen life and been through a lot but runs and drives great.
Its pretty close to a "Unicorn" configuration wise (6MT w/ sports package and on top has virtually all options except NAV and premium hifi stereo). 2008 128i Sparkling Graphite Metallic 202,000kms (mostly highway miles) 6MT Leatherette BMW Performance Brake Kit Upgrade (ie 135i calipers and cross drilled rotors in front) Sports Package Premium Package Comfort Access USB integration 18" summer wheels with 4/32nds Micheline Pilot Sports 17" winter wheels w/ fairly new Michelin Xi3 tires Its up there in mileage but assume overall condition is good for a car of this vintage. I have full and complete maintenance records. Rust proofed for the past several years. What do you think this car would fetch? Its an enthusiast build so I'm sure it would go to a real appreciator of BMW's. |

Yea, around $8K to an enthusiast/someone that knows what the car is. You'll get screwed on a tradein. Try posting on local BMW clubs....and hope an enthusiast picks it up. GLWS.

Hahaha, thanks guys. Thats pretty much the exact number I was thinking thats why I laugh...good to know I'm not crazy.
Not for sale yet, just doing a gut check. Will keep you posted. M2C is a fantastic package but the $$ jump is significant. Probably will wait for the market to cool a bit when there is more inventory. |

Will let you know but I ended up getting a 991.1 Carrera 4S instead of replacing the 128i with an M2C for example. So looks like I'll be keeping the 128i for Home Depot runs and more comfortable people carrying
