aftermarket steering wheel

Apologies if I missed it but I think I searched every key word I could think of - but has anyone changed out the stock steering wheel for an aftermarket one like a Momo?

Curious as to how to terminate the airbag and other connections so not to get codes - or if even possible..

Thank you!

I'm sure it's been done, but I have no evidence of such. It's definitely possible. Can be as simple as plugging resistors into the car side of the harness for the ABS to trick the computer into thinking it's present(I've done this with seats in the past) or possibly coding the ABS out via one of the many software's available for these cars.

Someone will chime in with more specific info - just figured I'd give you a free bump.
