Slek csl trunk install
Hey,
I'm trying to install the slek csl style trunk. It fits prefectly and I love it the only issue I have is the third brake light. There is no peice to screw the bolts into. Has anyone else ran into this issue? If so what did you do to connect the third brake light? Any help is much appreciated thank you. |

The bolts are actually studs that screw into the light themselves and are positioned through mounting holes in the trunk. Springs and nuts hold it in from there. Are you fudging the install perhaps? Maybe a photo will convey your dilemma a little more clearly?

I 3D printed a few parts to get the 3rd brake light to stay in, however it would still leak water into the trunk. I had to silicone mine in place to keep it from leaking. I used clear Gorilla sealant.

Wait, that much money for a body panel and it won't install properly?

Then you have no options other than full part-out. I'll take the trunk.
