I have this awesome product I just came across Id like to sell you, it's called DiHydrogen Monoxide. I sell it in 600ml bottles for about $16 per pop. It's great for your body and you can even use it to clean your car, put in your windscreen washer bottle, radiator, for cooking. ITS AMAZING STUFF!!

BUY NOW!

This is exactly what my Audi service used for the air intake cleaning of my RS4, in the hope to clean the inlet valves. Pretty easy to do, take the air inlet duct out and spray while the engine was running about 3000rpm. They used the whole can and then used the above Audi /VW fuel additive to clean the fuel line and injectors.

I'm pretty sure it's the same as Subaru's Upper Cylinder/Engine Cleaner and Nulon Foaming Air Intake Cleaner.

I never thought about asking my Audi dealer what they use. I might just go by there and see what they sell/say.

Has anyone used these 3M products? I have always thought about using them. While its not really designed for a D.I. engine, I don't see why you couldn't use it.

after running this treatment for half a tank.... TBH I can't really notice much difference, throttle might be a little more responsive but can't say that's 100%.

if you have $16 to burn why not otherwise maybe give it a miss. Will look at trying the upper engine cleaner soon.

Just some feedback on this product. I have used it twice now.

You won’t notice any difference but... after putting it in it did do something.. My car never smokes... but this treatment did cause it to blow out a heap of crap on one cold start. I used it on my wife’s Audi and caused it to spew some crap out... her car has never smoked ever! Both times i have used this these has been one time it dropped a heap of smoke.

so it does clean something... also I got into a bad habit of letting my car idle while getting the boy in... After a month of doing this i had a couple stumbles under wot.. Was going to change my plugs but i ran this again. one cold start car blew a heap of smoke (blue/black) after that very smooth again at WOT not changing plugs anymore.

so IMO it's doing something and worth using.
