This is probably a long shot but I just wanted to bring it out there.

Looking for an Alpine White stock hood from any one who has or is going to switch to a carbon fiber one. Would prefer no chips but swirls that can be eventually polished out is okay. Will continue to be looking for one until I post that I've found one in this thread. Thanks!

My car is in the shop right now having a CF hood painted and installed. I will have the OEM hood off the car by the end of the week. It's practically new. No chips at all and it has the 3M clear bra on it. My car only had 1000 miles when I took it in to the shop.

However, I was planning on holding on to the hood in case. I am in Oregon and I know the shipping to VA would be significant. Also, my concern would be that the hood could be damaged during shipping. What were you expecting to pay?
