Are you serious?! Where did you hear that? What on earth happens now if that's true?

Relax, greg! Geez, I thought you'd be able to see right through that one haha! C'mon, EGR valve in that ship???

I have to be careful, I don't want to drive you to drinkin' before you pick up your car!

You jerk! THAT'S NOT FUNNY!!!!! Here I am freaking out and thank GOD I didn't send that e-mail to my sales guy, cause I was about to, but thought, no, I'll wait to hear more info and e-mail him in the morning then trying to figure out what to do now.

That's it, now I'm having those damn chrome grilles installed on your car at the port or by your dealer. And we're putting some construction strength epoxy on there so they ain't coming out unless you rip the whole front of your car off.

NOT COOL! How the hell would I know about the mechanics of a shipping vessel and whether it has or doesn't have an exhaust gas recirculation valve?

My stomach went through the floor.

One day when you least expect it...I will get even. Or I'll message my car thanks to my handy tech package, and tell it to push yours off the darn boat. Or at least put a banana in your tailpipe. Maaaaan....not funny...cause I didn't want EatMyDust over there having a heart attack or anything.

I just felt the need to quote that line out of context because it sounds oddly desperate. That is all.

I so want to make a comment here also....but I'm already on his SH!T list tonight, so I'll remain quiet and keep the body guards close!

Knock yourself out, I'm fine now.

Reminded me of a scene from an old movie - Stay Tuned, where they did "Sadistic Hidden Video" and a cop asks an old woman if her husband is _______ _______. She says...yes, and gets worried. And the fake cop says, I'm sorry ma'am, but your husband was killed...and she loses it and he eventually tells her she's on Sadistic Hidden Video! "I am!!!"

I sure laughed at that!

So, I'm fine now, but alas, you found my one weakness/achilles heel/kryptonite - the delivery of my beloved new car.

On a serious note though, looks like the marine traffic vessel details have updated with an ETA for arrival at Port Hueneme which interestingly shows the 18th, not the 19th. Guess we'll see...if it ever decides to go more than 100 feet into the Panama Canal of course. Here's what marine traffic says:

Voyage Related Info (Last Received)
Draught: 10.4 m
Destination: PORT HUENEME VIA PC
ETA: 2013-04-18 14:00
Info Received: 2013-04-11 04:57 (0d, 1h 42min ago)

EGR valve? Really? I bust a gut laughing when I read the thread this morning. Sorry greg.

But if it makes you feel any better, we are off and away and leading the pack through the canal. Now if I can just find the damn coffee the morning will be perfect!

Yaaaa....yaaaaa.

The goal of the day is for someone to capture a picture of the Toreador going through one of the locks. Looks like the Miraflores lock.

Here's the webcam link if anybody is able to capture a nice still shot of it going through. Our best bet probably is going through the miraflores via the high resolution camera, but alas, I have a meeting at 10 and another from from 12-130, so might not be at my computer to snag it.

This is your mission to any and all who accept it...or to Kouper if you want to redeem yourself after causing my mild heart attack yesterday.

Crap, it's probably 20-30 minutes away from the Miraflores locks and the lovely full screen high def webcam to capture it going through but I may miss it by 5 minutes! EatMyDust...hopefully you can be johnny on the spot and capture it for us if I can't.

Here we go, heading under the Centennial Bridge ... I'm up on the poop deck cracking one of those frosties they picked up in Colon. Captain is with me and we are making fun of the pilot, who has to do all the work. You might have heard me spinning donuts on the back deck, until the Pilot got ticked off and told me to go put my car back in its box.

I do believe that's us in the background ... at least I don't see any other orange ships in the vicinity.

Looks good. I ran out of my meeting to see this. I see us now in the background and looks like after this ugly grey and black one goes through we're next. Be a doll and make sure to switch to the high resolution one as we go through pretty please.

That lil catamaran sitting in the lock is about to get steamrolled by the cargo ship it looks like.

I've got like 30-40 stills and will save them as it is like a cool flip book. Will upload in a bit.
