Smile CSLs on AW?

Considering some CSLs in 18" for the car... Not sure how silver would go on the Alpine White.

Any thoughts?

Try putting up a few of the shots up from other posts Kris, otherwise it will be a guessing competition.

Anyway, I'm very interested in what you choose

I would personally go with the darker CSL's but I know that is not to everyone's taste. The question I have is what does the 18's look like? All I have seen are 19's and they have nice concave look. I wonder if 18's are the same.

Hmmm.... nah don't do it Kris... the stock wheels look good. So if you're going to upgrade they have to look great... better than great. They have to be perfect... and those CSL's aren't quite there... Just in my opinion

Problem with stock wheel is that the fronts are not wide enough. Nice design though!

Nice...but how much? If I am not mistaken these mobs are popular with the Ferrari set so I don't fancy a good price.

Alpine, I hear ya. I'd want 18x8.5 and 18x9.5. Theres no real difference in price between 18" and 20" - kinda silly

There isn't much around thats nice without spending silly figures

DPE has some nice wheels http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=78781

They're nice, but not that much better than stock to justify the extra $$$.

How much lighter are they? The stock rims are already pretty light aren't they?

I think they are as heavy as stock. There are reps, not the real stuff made by BBS for BMW...

Silver will look good and it will never date !!! just compare how the stock wheels look up against the AW colour - they look good, so too would any other nice looking mag in the same colour

I hope we do start seeing more silver/hyper silver/shadow chrome coloured mags on these cars, lately the trend has been black or dark grey rims...
