Hello!
Sorry to revive such an onld post... I'm thinking of buying a set of V710s (8.5 ET45 + 9.5 ET50), but I have the M3 front lower control arms (wishbones) installed, so about a -1 degree of negative camber. Anyone know if I will have some rubbing issues in the struts with 225 tyres (MPSS)? Thank you very much! |

Sumbeam, that's the specs I'd order. However, you will be right beside the front strut. Variables will come into to play but you'll probably have like 1mm to spare without rubbing.

You should be ok with those specs. If anything, you may require a small spacer on the front, but nothing that will risk rubbing on the fenders. Give me a call and we can get you set up!

Hello. First post here, and I'm using a very old thread. I apologize now.
I own a BMW 135i Coupe. I need more rubber in the front and rear. Do not like the way the car washes wide in the front on some days. No changes from stock suspension. I know that the stock setup on my car is 18x7.5 ET49 & 18x8.5 ET52 with 225/40 and 245/35 run flats. I'd like to put 18x8.5 ET45 and 18x9.5 ET50 VMR V710 wheels on the car, but will they categorically take 235/40 and 255/35 tyres, without any rubbing issues whatsoever? The question is asked of VMRWheels please. Thanks. Jim |

The wheel specs would work just fine on the 1 Series, however, the 235 tire would be a bit wide for the front. We normally recommend a 225/40/18 front tire for a rub free fitment. The ET50 would allow you to run a 255/35/18 tire as well. Hope this helps! -Brandon
