You can only have one. Berk Race AB or Injen Intake

Before we get off into the "xxxx performs better than yyyy for the money" discussion, lets just say this mod is purely for the diving experience of more noise.

I come from the world of absurdly loud V8s for daily drivers. I need some more noise.

So lets say you can only buy one or the other, which would it be, the intake, or the exhaust?

I'd rather have everything stock but a catless downpipe if you want sound.

Catless downpipe won't pass emissions and I've done that dance before. I'm tired of swapping things yearly to pass inspection. Otherwise, I'd agree with you.

Definitely Berk Race! Got mine off ebay for about 400 free shipping. Look for the ones that say or best offer and start offering. Not sure on the price these days but saved about $100 back then. Arrived all shiny and new in a good box with all the bolts and everything. Never hurts to check it out. Did the same thing with injen intake on ebay and got about 80-90 off with free shipping.

Definitely the Berk if you don't want to go the downpipe route. Ideally though, downpipe, resonator delete, and stock axleback.

You live in Dallas, how do you get around emissions at inspection time?

I actually purchased a Berk Race Axleback and received/installed it about a month ago. I am actually interested in selling this, as I have received too much negative attention in my hoity toitey workplace

It sounds impressive - for sure. Just too much right now lol

Last year I swapped the cat back onto it.. Simple job, only takes me about 30 min. Next time around I think i'm gonna try an o2 spacer with a "minicat"

Find a new workplace as they have no taste in great cars/engines!
