Would A Et35 Front And Et45 Rear Fit A 135i. On The Site It Says To Use A Et45 Front And Et50 Rear But I Want That Real Offset Look

Yeah well we all want that look but unless you like your wheels to stick out of the fenders it won't work on the 1er. There are some 9.5 rears available with 45 offset but you will likely be rolling the fenders if you are lowered. A 35 offset front - no way, not even close.

35 front would not work unless you want to cut the fender and do some heavy work to it......

The front is far too aggressive, you will want something in the 45-50 offset range.

thanks guys so it looks like im just gona have to get the et45 front and et50 rear.

what's the widest tire i can go with in the rear? 265

i wish we could do a 295 or 315 in the rear with 225 in the front with a nice BBS LM deep dish

I am running 265 in the rear and had to roll my fenders hard. I would stick with a 245 or 255 tire to be safe.

255 and I'm already rubbing slightly maybe its the inside of the fender liner, not the outside though. minor roll needed.

8.5 +45 front and 9.5 +50 rear works perfect with a 225/245 setup. 255's may work depending on tire manufacturer. John Zhang above ran a 255/40 which is a bit tall, so if he were to swap that out for a 30, it should work great.

Also Im running a stock suspension w/ no intention of dropping it.

How was it going from the factory 18's to the 19's.
I love the 19's but am in upstate NY where the Roads look like a minefield, so am thinking the 18's might be a safer bet.

The ride on the 19's from the 18's felt "fluffier". The RFT 18's had a very stiff sidewall which really hurt the ride. Having said that, you do have to dodge the potholes with 19's.

18s would be a safe bet with no fender mods need. my 18 to 19 transition was interesting. If I want hassle free I would go 18's if I wanted for looks I would go 19s. That being said I was opting for 18s in the beginning for practicality and function. the run flat to non-runflat is a big transition already.

255/35/18 or 255/30/19 can work.

If you are on RFT now, the transition to 19's will not be much of a change. I felt the car rode about the same with 19" wheels and tires compared with the stock setup. The performance change was dramatic, the stock RFTs are terrible.

So.....19" is equal to 18's with runflats, but better performance...all boils down to looks verses ride improvement...

Decisions should be easier. LOL

18s with a bit of a thicker tire fits the bills and would make the car look trackish and therefore more aggressive. you can pull this off

I figured the ride on the NON-Runflat 19's would = the RFT 18's. Personally, I Love the ride of my 135 now.
I like the look of the 19's better, but think the extra rubber on the 18's would better protect those sweet rims from the pothole barrage here in Upstate, NY

Here's a picture of a 135i w/ the ET45 and the ET50 fitment. As you can see, it's pretty aggressive as it is, I really wouldn't go any lower in offset:

And these are pics of my car with offsets at 46 (front)/ 56 (rears) running the hankooks v12's 225/40's up front and 255/35's in the rear. I'm riding stock sport suspension and have no issues with rubbing.
