sick work lol.
to be honest, im the type of person who would cause the guy more than just 1200 dollars of set back. Just sayin... People who scam others for their hard earned money are straight up scum.

If you emailed him at his Shaw address, you can call Shaw to let them know a member has defrauded you. Most companies have anti-fraud policies that involve the use of their services including internet, email, etc.
So if he was dumb enough to use that email in his dealings with you, call them up and they'll launch the investigation. And remember: under NO circumstances should anyone go confront him in person unless they're standing behind the police. It's way too easy to get beaten/shot/stabbed/sued in this world for the stupidest reasons. So I hope nobody here goes looking for trouble! |

Great work...But, would be nice to know for certain if he indeed owns a 135i..maybe he never did, and or better yet, if you can match I.P from his threads here to the local shop..would be perfect and enough proof for an arrest.

He's taken his members.shaw.ca/acbcenglish site down, a sure sign it is him. I can contact the Vancouver Police if you'd like.
acbcenglish also, i think we're gonna stick with msn groups for awhile, since it has a message board, ... its getting long, have a good night... -Tony Phung komitao@shaw.ca ... more hits from: http://members.shaw.ca/acbcenglish/index.html - 7 KB |

I'd recommend since he is choosing to run and hide... that you nail his slimy ass to the wall. Shop closed, arrested for internet fraud, humiliate this loser. Business acquaintances know what kind of person he is. Family members find out... Coworkers... the whole schmear. This guys should be begging to pay you back once this is all said and done. Ruin him, bigtime. Make an example of him. Local messageboards, take ads out in his local newspapers, craigslist. Hit his shop with reports to better business bureau, and any other consumer advocate group you can drum up.
Make this slime pay with his business, job, family, reputation, livelihood... I'd wager that all this would stop if the guy immediately and unconditionally refunded the money he ripped off. |

It certainly is.
Well i'm now sure we have our man, considering he took down the /abcenglish page. Maybe as an act of appreciation every member of 1Addicts can send Tay a bottle of Californian pinot? Would be a great celebration! (and a looooong one!) I don't think Alex has had a chance to read the PM yet about who it is, and the contact details I have for this guy. Can't wait to see Alex's reaction when he logs in |

I remember an old article from vancouver (?) where some guy stole a skyline and was found by forum members. Same thing going on here
Get the police to back you up and get it straightened out. Also, never EMT money!

Its pretty obvious this guy is a thief, he isn't even on here trying to make an effort to clear this up. Get the police involved and get this guy in jail. I hate pissant scammers that ruin great communities such as this one. It really is disgusting cowardly behaviour. I am hoping this guy gets a criminal record out of this and the OP gets his money back.

Wonder why Alpink has not responded to this thread, after all of the work that was graciously done for him.
It was obviously a pressing subject for him. One thing.. I sincerely hope he did not go to confront his personal slimeball. |

Alex now has all the details on this guy.
At this point i think it is better to leave the decisions to Alex, as he now has an address, phone number and name to give to the police to have this worked out. I agree - i've seen his posts on the bot/hack forum which doesn't show good character. This affirms my belief that this IS him. Too many things are pointing to him. So, i think this should now go to the police and let them handle going to him. Quote:
I've suggested to leave it to the police which i hope he does. |
