As much as I want to carry and sell the RS line, the info I received really discouraged me from doing so. Last edited by HP Autosport; 01-19-2012 at 12:48 PM.. Reason: Correct for RS line only on performance based issues |

Would you like to elaborate on these issues you mention? We can discuss through PM to stay on track too.

From the horses mouth as an authorized JRZ distributor and rebuilder, and supplier of triple-digit numbers of sets of the JRZ RS over the last bunch of years (I was surprised also, but I looked it up) that is JRZ's ONLY non-remote reservoir damper to date, I am surprised to hear this also. They can be a little slow at times because they are a smaller specialized company, but their level of issues is miniscule and they don't shy away from solving anything. In fact, in the club racing market where many are hard on equipment but haven't developed maintenance intervals to match, I am just starting to see a few sets come in for service (most sold 4-5 years ago). Also, with the RS-1 to my knowledge having only been sent out one set per marque to distributors for testing and a pending full-line launch, I have the only BMW set I know of in the US on my E46 and I can tell you with 100% certainty they are performing to expectations. |

I went with 500/800 Hypercoil springs, my E90 is heavier then the 1M. Great that you are going to be be able to test it on the street and track soon after your install. Any thoughts on shock settings yet for street and track?

Quick update: JRZ RS1 shocks are installed but we've decided to swap out the 8" front/9" rear springs in favor of 7" front and 10" rear in order to gain greater height adjustability.
I will be picking car up Tues or Wednesday evening and heading to VIR on Thursday afternoon. Neil |

Last saturday Rs1 and Eibach installed...........drop is lookig awesome, but....watch scratching the front bumper, there is not much room left.
Also I hear "squeezing" sounds, when driving slowly, already contacted JRZ, I`ve been advized to drive a while and see if the sound dissapears....... |

I will hope that is the case for me, but I have my doubts. The sound isn`t changed in 5 days, I have made an appointment with AdVevo for a second opinion, he will check it out next saturday. Also have asked my dealer for a look and a quick check; his advise; the squeezing (only with very slow driving) sound will not go away spontaneously, give it a check at JRZ. Keep you all informed, 1st I`ll have AdVevo have a look at it. |

What are you shocks set at when you hear the "squeezing" sound? Soft or hard? If the shocks are set to full soft, then you will hear more noise generally, at least that was the case with my old Motons.
