Charcoal evap fuel filter
Ok so just recently when i fill my tank, there is a very strong fuel smell. So bad I cannot park in garage and shut door. I make sure to stop filling as soon as handle clicks off, so not over filling. Seems like the vaps are coming mainly from drivers side near rear wheel well, but that could just be easiest exit for vaps.
I don't see too much talk about charcoal cannister and at $300 I am not in a rush to replace. Any one else encounter this? I have zero drips or leaks.

If there was something wrong with it, you would quickly get a check engine light. When you are refuelling, it is pushing the tank vapours through the canister. Sounds like your canister is just heavily loaded with fuel. Do you do a lot of short trips? Probably just need to take the car on a long highway drive to burn off the fuel in the canister.

This is happening every time i fill the car. I drive long distance everyday. It goes away after getting the tank down a bit. Darn canister is expensive.
Not sure what else to do

Do you have a shop you trust? Maybe fill the tank and then go there for a close inspection for leaks.
