Hawk HPS pads for the 135i

I know not many people are in need of brake pads this early in the cars life but Hawk has released their HPS pads for the 135i.

We had a set come in yesterday and should have them available in about two weeks.

Fyi.

I had these pads on my E36. They were good replacements for the OEM pads. They did not bite as hard when cold but did have better stopping power then OEM when warmed up. But they were certainly not track pads. They were very quiet and had considerably less brake dust than the BMW OEM pads.

That's been my experience with them as well. I had them on my E36 and also have them on my Miata.

That is exactly what they intend with this pad. Your assessment is spot on.

Gill, any news on the HT-10 pads or a similar level track pad from another manufacturer?

Yes. They might not show on the site now but we will have access to those soon.

Also, DT-30, 60 and 70 and HP Plus.

We just set class track records at Thunderhill for both the Cyclone and Bypass configurations using the DTC 60s and 70s
