Original Manufacturer Warranty Ending
So my Factory Warranty is ending and apparently it covers some wear items not covered buy maintenance and the CPO Warranty ("powertrain"). For example, fading trim, buzzing speakers etc.
Are there any items that are common to fade/wear and you thing would be worth trying to convince the dealer to replace? I recently got my trunk open button replaced because it was fading (I didn't even notice or care, my SA pointed it out and had it changed). Any other items like this? Thoughts? |

Funny you should mention this. My son's 2011 128i has this problem. It's loose on the right end also. Is this common? Anyone know what causes it?

Check your AC closely. Check for unusual odors, and if possible, measure the temp coming from all the vents. If there is a large discrepancy, you may have a refrigerant leak.

Ahh, that's a good one, thanks for the heads up as I am sure this will be a costly issue to fix in the future.

I had a problem where the seatbelt was wearing out the side of my drivers seat.
I was actually able to get them to replace the leather under warranty. If you're noticing significant wear then try to get it covered!
