Steering wheel vibration when A/C is on ?

Hello all. When the air conditioner is on, there is a light vibration coming from the steering wheel. The car has to be in drive with your foot on the brake to feel the vibration, the vibration goes away once you start driving, and doesn't do it when in park. Also does not do it at highway speeds.

I told my service tech about this but he came back and said that all 1 series feel this way.

This is the first year that my 1 series has done this, so that obviously isn't true.

Does anyone have an idea ?
