E87 ELV fault after reset

My 120d E87 from 2007, had a ELV fault showing in yellow, steering wheel locked and couldn’t start engine so, changed battery, reset ELV fault counter, reset all errors, registered new battery but after a few hours (without driving), the error came back.
Steering wheel is locked, ELV error in yellow shows up and cannot start engine.

Error codes before and after. Some are related to installing a new modern Screen.

Don’t wanna use Emulator as heard horrible stories.
Location is Europe, left hand drive.
