BMW design is in Moorpark (Ca.)
It's near the 101/118/23 freeways. Videos of the E92 M3 going through Malibu Cyn. were out long before the car was. Hopefully, they are reading this board and working on something good. I think he saw them!!
On the flip side, I saw the same pack of 3 door Audi A3's as the person noted previously. Olympic Blvd. is a test location so I see all kinds of covered up cars. What I want is an ///M tweaked 135 with a carbon roof and the dual clutch trans. |

FYI The REAL M1 Concept
I wasn't sure if anyone actually posted this or not, but BMW recently revealed this concept for the M1. http://jalopnik.com/assets/images/ga...45825f73_o.jpg |

If M1 comes out I may seriously consider trading my 135i in.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There will not be a M1 or M-division 1-series, at least not with the E82 1-series. There will be a tii version only, not M. End of story. PLEASE READ THIS http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/News/Se...ontent-block=0 BMW chief Norbert Reithofer has already ruled out the rumored M1. And there is a new 1-series coming in late 2011, dubbed F20. Quote "BMW chief Norbert Reithofer has confirmed to CAR Online that a range of tii performance options will be launched soon on the company's smaller models. He has finally ruled out a rumoured M1 version of the 1-series and said the tii spec would be the most performance-oriented model, claiming the the twin-turbo 135i was quite fast enough (it does 0-62mph in 5.3sec, after all)." "However, BMW plans for the tii models to be proper performance cars in the longer run. For instance, the next-gen 1-series, dubbed F20 and due in late 2011, will offer a tii version with a downsized twin-turbo four-cylinder petrol engine and a radically lighter body and chassis, we hear." I could possibly see a M-version 1er with the F20 due in 2011. |

I see BMW & M-B test mules on a regular basis. Most recently last Thursday in Malibu. Below: See some lousy camera phone pics of the M3 taken in early 2007. BMW isn't sorting out suspensions on M cars, just making sure there aren't issues driving on bumpy LA freeways in heavy traffic. I'll be on the look-out for any 1 Coupe Test mules plying PCH or the freeways. BTW, it is dangerous to be shooting pictures of cars in adjacent lanes when you are up to speed in traffic. |
