Isn't that taking a step backwards? I wish I had them on my WRX. The headlights get filthy driving on snowy/slushy roads, and you lose visibility easily. I could understand making them part of the cold weather package though. Just be glad they aren't headlight wipers like Volvo's used to have.

remove sunroof, put in the already overpriced premium pack. Mack cloth/vinyl/alacantra seats standard. Xenons are optional as well.

Those changes should reduce price by over $1500 - 2000.

USB interface shoud be std on all cars. Charging 400 is a crime.

Also, push button start is already basically there, don't charge us $500 to activate it.

These are pure money grabs.

Get rid of run flats.

Make the sunroof an option instead of standard.

Make the headlights and front end like the 3 series coupe or 5 series, 6 series anything but how they are now.

See if you can do something about the pot-belly pig look from the side.

Make it available with the new dual-clutch

Leather/alcantara seats as standard instead of vinyl

IF you think BMW will EVER, EVER offer cloth seats to a US market, then I have some great oceanfront property for you to checkout here in Arky.

- all-wheel drive
- no more run flat tires
- more color choices (especially non-metallic colors)
- fewer useless (for me) features in the premium package (such as garage door opener, memory seats, compass, auto-dimming mirrors)
- retractable hard-top (ok.. I want this on every car)

LSD is the major thing that i think this car needs. Power can be increased easy with a chip or what not, the most work that would have to be done is with an LSD, so the new one better have an LSD

I'd like to see an AWD version with a DCT. Other then that I'll reserve judgment until I actually own the car for a little while.

Why is everyone so down on the run flat tires? I know they don't perform all that great at the track, but is there something wrong with them for normal every day driving? Seems logical that if you're not going to provide a spare tire that run flats are the next best option. Definitely better then my wife's Miata which cam with a can of "fix-a-flat".

Check out the "Build Your Own" on the bmwusa.com website. It is a cloth/leather combination, but I think that is what people are wanting. I'd love to have it as well.

As previously stated, anthracite headliners with the same colormatched pillars.. Less weight would be a plus, but not at the cost of quality materials
