When did the first 1er come out? I have heard that March 09 ends the official first year for the 1 series.

Performance pickup June 6, 08. Just hit 7000.

The official launch date for the US was March 22, 2008.

Euro Delivery on Oct 25, 2008 - 1495 miles in Deutschland and Osterreich. About 200 miles back here and currently in the shop with perplexed technicians attempting to get the Euro maps off and the North American maps on.

Having serious problems keeping it to stateside speed limits. ("Officer, I can guarantee you that the car is totally safe at 140 mph! There's no need to discuss a felony charge is there? :wink

I thank all that is holy for the "limit" option on the iDrive.
