135 exhaust for 128
I have seen a few people that I think are using 135 exhaust on their 128's. Does anyone know which sections are compatible, and what modifications/fabrication needs to be to use it? I am wondering, because the selection for 135's is way better than 128.

I have the 135i stock factory muffler on the back of my 128i. The main difference is the 135i exhaust is 2 pieces, it has a clamp joint just behind the resonator. The 128i is all one piece. I simply had an exhaust shop weld the 135i muffler directly to the resonator.
So presumably, you could buy a 135i aftermarket rear section muffler and do the same. |

Awesome. Thanks for the info! That is really great news. There are just not the exhausts I want for the 128, so this really opens up some options for me. The exhaust shop I use is really good about doing a little fab work. My Z3 has E36 exhaust. I am guessing it is probably the same type of thing, close but you need a welder.

I know one of my friends has a resonator delete and the 135i exhaust from the second resonator back (IIRC). andrey_gta
