Service Icon Question

Yes, the first thing I did was check the owners manual. I just got my service done at 27k. The computer is telling me in 3k miles I need another service. The icon is like a car on a lift. The owners manual says it stands for "Service Requirements"

What exactly does that mean? I think I remember someone saying at 30k they just take a general look at your car or something and make sure everything is ok. What do they actually do xD

Thanks!

Its termed an "Inspection" by BMW and is somewhat described in the Warranty/Service manual. It includes a number of checks and a road test and costs around $200 if out of warranty.
