My car started to squeak for a few weeks and found a big groove on my left rear. Should I check the pad or just leave it? Time is what I am short on.

Groovy Steve.
I'd get it checked.

As Ian stated, JC got a deep groove after a stone got inbedded during a track day.

I had a groove on my left rear a couple of months ago, and now it's gone

Yep I can confirm the same! I assume it was a stone, which is what it looks like, it's not a deep as it looks. Its only the aesthetics that bother me but I might get it looked at soon. Let me know how you go... I also have what looks like a pad shaped corrosion on my rear rotors(both sides) which hasn't disappeared, I cooled down after track sessions with no handbrake between each session so might get that looked at too...
