Pursuit of the Aerodynamics front bumper
I am in pursuit of the Performance aerodynamics kit from BMW,
I've had no difficulty finding the Air ducts and the side skirts but the main front bumper assembly has been much more difficult. The 51-11-0-442-872 part number includes all the hardware required to complete the installation, no one however seems to have this. Using etkbmw I was able to find the individual components that make up this part number and it looks like I can get everything separately. The problem is that this resulted in a $300 higher price tag. My question is, does anyone know if there are any components that can be omitted? At a glance it looks like the "air ducts" that it comes with can be ignored since they are blanks intended for use with the 128i and I need to order separate ducts for the 135i. Are there others that can be ignored as well?
