How Many 1-series owners?

I thought all 1 addicts owned a 1-series.

Seems dumb to be a member if you don't have one......

I assume you are referring to me. If you read my OP, you will see that my original intention was to buy a 1er (specifically a 135 coupe, sport, premium, nav, ipod, heated seats, comfort access). However, a reevaluation of my family situation (2 young kids with car seats in and out of the car), coupled with the current economic situation (0.9% financing, and big price breaks on 2008 cars) led me to a 2008 AW M3 sedan. Some pics of my new car:

Personally, I don't feel this means I have to leave the forum. I still believe the 1er is a great car, just didn't turn out to be my best option right now. I also think the 1addicts has a great group of people to converse with. I do now also participate at M3post forum. Lastly, I feel that since I started the "roll call" thread, I am going to keep the tally going, no matter what car I am driving.

I'd be willing to bet close to 50% of the members here don't have a 1 series...myself included.

This forum is about enthusiasm. And enthusiasm does not require ownership.

Regardless of the model you own (or plan to own), there's something great to appreciate about any BMW. I for one really enjoy 3to1's M3 stories and photos - I don't think this makes me any less of a 1 fan. 1Addicts has a great bunch of folks - whether a 1 is in our past, present, or future... or even not at all.

I've seen others mention the new iDrive so I doubt it, but with a pickup date of Oct 25th in Germany I probably was among the first group to have a 2009. I think the first '09s were delivered at the Welt starting around Oct 13th or so...
