burning smell????

i everyone!!!!!!!!!so far i've been having a blast with my new vert and put 250 miles on it so far.but i have been smelling some burning smell everytime i would park the car.what is it???

If its brand new your probably smelling the cats, the smell should go away soon.

probably that wax (can't remember what it's called exactly) they spray all over the car (and engine bay?) with to prevent corrosion during shipping is burning up. I got that on my Z4 and 135 when I took delivery. It's there for like a week or so. I think you'll notice it more with a vert.

also, you're gonna see those wax crap melting out when summer time comes and you park your car under the LA sun for an hour or so.

Its a spray that put on the car for overseas shipping. It burns off after a few hundred miles
