Adrian13's E82 135i Build

Hey guys,

Been a lurker on this forum for a while, have never posted, figured now would be the perfect opportunity to finally become an active member!
My name is Adrian, and I'm from Sydney! With me is my 2008 BMW 135i N54 E82, never realised the potential these cars had until I owned one personally! Glad to be part of this community, looking forward to what this forum has to offer and obviously mingling with like minded gear heads.

At the moment, here are the current modifications on my car:

-JB4 G5
-Active Autowerkes Chargepipe
-Synapse Blow Off Valve
-JD Tuning Monster Front Mount Intercooler with upgraded Oil Cooler
-Kohlefaser Luft-Technik Induction System
-Custom Exhaust system including 3" Dumps, de-res and custom cut Black Exhaust Tips with Burnt Blue outers
-Rieger Tuning Front Bumper with Carbon Fibre Rieger Tuning Lip
-Rieger Rear Carbon Fibre Diffuser with quad exhaust tip outlet
-Custom Carbon Fibre M4 Style Rear duck lip spoiler
-Blackline LCI Tail Lights
-Carbon Fibre Eyelid Inserts
-Eibach Springs

Currently dyno'd at 282.8KW atrw

Car is currently sitting at Advan Performance, while Justin (JD75) does his magic, updates on my car to be posted within the next few weeks!

They are 19s indeed, the GTC's actually came with the car so I stuck by them, I'm awaiting on my widebody kit from the states before measuring up a set of Rotiforms for the new look

I will be installing the kit manufactured by Clinched in the US, not everyones cup of tea but the kit will be chopped up to suit my rieger tuning front bumper as it is a direct bolt on for the standard 135i bumper. I will be adding a larger wing (gt3rs wing specifically with taller mounts), lower extended diffuser, extended side skirts and front lip extension (with rods) to add. Carbon Fibre bonnet is soon to be organised by BMR Autowerkes as well. Should be fun

Oh trust me, big power coming 😬 Talking intake manifolds, port injection e85 and upgraded turbos. Car has been sitting at advan for a week now, will be there for a while longer to get those mods and a little more installed

They say white walls are illegal as they grind down the sidewall to make a smooth surface and in turn remove the tire specs-which is illegal. Tire lettering, however, does not involve sanding down the tirewall so in turn it is legal

Very nice, that rear diffuser looks tough! Does the Kohlefaser Luft-Technik airbox make any difference, both performance and sound wise?

Sounds like it's going to be a real weapon once finished.

Cheers mate, I felt the intake had a slight change in performance nothing extraordinary and in terms of sound it isn't a noticeable difference in whooshing noises that most some intakes may have but the turbo spool is a lot louder from OEM. All in all, nice looking airbox

Hey Adrian any chance of you reuploading the photos of the car. Considering going the Rieger front bumper but am getting told that the it is not as wide as the 1M so looks a bit awkward

What profile rubber are you using and did the car come with the Eibach springs? How is the ride? I'm about to put a set of 19" GTCX's on, the local tyre guy reckons that I should I should change them up for 18's but I prefer the 19" look. I've run 30 profile rears on 19's on a previous car and while it sounded crashy the dampers and springs I had on that car smoothed the ride out so it wasn't an issue in car.

Also I second the reupload of images, Imgur doesn't have the offsite hosting issue.
