Anything to worry about when getting towed on a flatbed?
Need to get my 135i towed to a mechanic, do I need to worry about the front of the car when it is being put on the flatbed? Is there enough clearance or do I need race ramps?

When you drive these cars you'll get used to having it on a flatbed more often than you would like.
So far I haven't had any issues .

AAA did a fine job with my 128i with sport suspension the one time it has been towed (in over 10 years). The guy knew he needed the eye that screws into either the front or back bumper and kept an eye on things to be sure it wasn't scraping. I would locate the eye for them and make sure they use it, not wrap around the suspension or something.

so he ended up using some boards. Glad I was there to help out as one was out of position. OverallI am satisfied with the service, but if he didn't have the boards there would have been problems. So if anything, I learned to be present when getting towed.
